My
photography / films and paintings are an intuitive response to the urban environment and social
landscape surrounding me. This is grounded in concentrated research
as well as a lateral approach within the given subject matter. My main
interests in photography lie in documenting spatial and temporal states of the landscape
and structure that take in places of meeting and change.
In my painting works I started using a Scratch Technique building on ideas of a story board, a fictional story based on elements of truth and the made up. Recently diversifying into adding charcoal and colour. This has also transferred into spoken word and experimental music through collaborations with Alison O'Palace as Brother G and the Trouble.
